When it comes to interior lighting sources, there are many online and offline options for the clients. There are different kinds of factors that influence your decision about T8 LED bulbs. The plug-and-play tubes have created a significant impact on the market in recent years.

What are plug and play tubes?

The plug-and-play tubes have created another dimension for the lighting industry. One can easily install the bulbs in the existing fixtures having ballast compatibility or none. For the existing fixtures, there is no need to change the wiring and parts. The plug-and-play T8 LED tube lights are ballast compatible which are instantly programmed or have a magnetic start.

Their lifespan is more than 50,000 hours of rigorous use, and they save twice on power consumption than the fluorescent or incandescent light sources. These LED tubes meet the UL and DLC standards which make them rebate eligible in many states. LED tubes do not flicker and are the best choice for lighting in commercial and residential areas.

Earlier fluorescent T8 tubes were a common choice for commercial and residential premises. The major disadvantage of these light sources was power flicker, excess consumption of electricity, and shorter lifespan. Replacing fluorescent tubes was a hassle, and one had to bring experienced professionals to install fluorescent fixtures.

The new technology has made it easy for anyone can install the LED fixtures by following the instructions booklet provided with the LED tubes. The Lumen output ranges from 2200 Lumens to 6500 Lumens for T8 LED tubes. There is no expensive electrical work in the installation process, and uniform brightness is set for the interiors without compromising the product’s quality. The T8 LED tubes have also upgraded themselves from time to time to deliver better illumination.
